A lovely drive from Bournemouth to Bath, a World Heritage City, with as short stop near a typical thatch cottage for your guide to explain the history along the winding road.

Then you have two hours to choose to visit Jane Austen’ house, No 1 Royal Crescent to see inside a real Georgian household, or the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey or just to do some shopping.
Then drive back, over Salisbury Plain to admire the awesome stone circles of Stonehenge, with an informative explanation from your guide on how and why it was built.

Then we drive on to visit Salisbury and its grand Cathedral, with a quiet walk in the cloisters and a look at the Magna Carta.*
