Sammy the stonehenge-hog’s first summer!

Its the middle of the peak summer season, and things- happily for us, are really busy! The great British summer has lived up to its name, we had some scorching days, as well as some miserable wet ones. But whatever the weather, we’ve had lots of fun. Our tours have been a real hit, and we have had some great day excursions to the Jurassic coast- walking over the beautiful cliffs while soaking up the rays and enjoying some typically English delights – Dorset Cream Teas. We’ve also really enjoyed the Bath, Salisbury and Stonehenge tours. Sammy our stonehenge-hog (AJP Tours Minibus mascot) has done a really great job during its first mad summer of transporting lots of enthusiastic day trippers to see the sights and learn all about the magnificent history of Bath, Salisbury and Stonehenge. Sammy our new 16 seater mini-bus has been a great asset to us this summer and our groups have loved the comfortable ride and enjoyment of being able to go with all their friends in the same bus.

On the transfers side- its been just as busy! Our luxury 8 seater has been up and down and all over the shop, transporting all sorts of people from busy business men and women to jet setters off to enjoy their summer holidays- and we even took up a Tuba to Heathrow!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for choosing AJP Tours. We’ve had some excellent feedback from many of you, and we have really enjoyed having you on our group tours and transfers. The rest of the summer looks like it will be just as busy as it has started, so why not come join us in the fun and games and we hope to see you on our next trip!

 From all at AJP Tours.

People look at the weather and make a last minute decision as to whether they are want to go and visit somewhere fantastic along the South Coast of England or just stay at home with a book and sleep…..and today the bookings are coming in!! Happy days for us, and hopefully for our groups who I am sure will enjoy their weekend with us!!

AJP Tours First real blog!

Hello All,

So this is all very exciting! My first blog…ever. I have recently set up all sorts of new developments within AJP Tours and wanted to share these with you. I say, I have, but really most of it is thanks to a certain Mr Nathan Revill…..so thanks Nathan….check him out at www.askrevill.com.

Ok, so here we go.

Development No 1: New Online Booking system (payment through PayPal). This should facilitate quick and easy online bookings for any of our tours, wherever you may be…please feel free to let us know your comments on how user friendly you find it.

Development 2: Our Blog….I and the other members of the AJP team will aim to keep you updated and hopefully entertained at relatively regular intervals……we are new to this, so bear with us!

Development 3: New Brochure……on your school/b & B/hotel shelves soon!

Development 4: New changes to the website, to include a language translation service!…..so any problems with our English text, you can click on the drop down menu at the top of the home page and you should be able to access the site in your own language.

Development 5: You can also keep up to date with all new changes on our facebook site…click on the link, again on the home page…and become our friend.

Dvelopment 6: One of the most important changes over the winter has been the addition of a fully branded AJP Tours 16 seater minibus…..look out for this on a road near you! Another minibus is also on its way….

I think that is it for the moment, but in the mean time….happy travels.

Tony
